Apostle Robbin Hargrove (Dr. RHMI)

is an anointed Woman of God committed to evoking change to the body of  Christ by building up and strengthening Ambassadors for the Kingdom of God. She is a multifaceted  executive, life coach and a Spiritual Midwife Trainer. She is known for her dynamic delivery of God’s  Word, her keen ear for God's voice, and her authoritative uncommon faith in carrying out God's Word. 

She is a licensed clinical social worker and is an innovative businesswoman who has opened several  community centers and five early learning centers. By the prompting of the Holy Spirit and with her love and concern for minority infants, in 2008 she founded A.H.E.A.R.T Ministries, a non-profit organization  dedicated to assisting families with infants in crisis. The journey that birthed out A.H.E.A.R.T Ministries began three years before, Dr. RHMI found herself in a multiyear fight to adopt her daughter. It was through this process where she was introduced to  Court Appointed Special Advocates where she was able assist other families navigating the court system. Day in and day out she would witness the most heart wrenching court cases where infants were being separated from their families over a lack of resources needed to support them. Dr. RHMI knew there to be a reason she was in a position to witness these horrendous stories. She refused to just settle for what she saw and was determined to see beyond the current state of the families. The need for basic necessities that could ultimately help keep families together was clear. The how of the solution was the component that remained unrevealed. 

In her prayer time the Lord revealed the answer to the lingering question with one simple word, Babyshowers. Initially it did not make any sense. She had to see beyond the basic concept of baby showers to see the impact. The fact of the matter was she was a single mother of four who had just quit her job, and invested her last $700 income check into starting a grassroots non profit and was following the instruction of the lord. With hope, a prayer, and grace to for the assignment she began traveling Atlantic County collecting baby items from friends, families, business owners and neighbors until she was able to start serving clients. Dr. RHMI didn’t know how it was going to happen but showed up to make it happen! The aim was and continues to reduce infant mortality in african american and native american communities by supplying them with physical, spiritual, and emotional support. 

In 2009 she served her first clients. Dr. RHMI was able to see beyond traditional methods of supply collection and innovatively created the first diaper bank in Cape Bank of  Atlantic City. What began as an event has turned into a movement. Four months after serving first client got connected with Bishop Herb and Louis Hutchinson and ended up serving the Navaho infants and families in Arizona, 

In 2012 she lost everything during hurricane sandy but continued to serve and became an agency a safe haven for folks looking for these resources to get families served. 

Since then, A.H.E.A.R.T has grown tremendously  and was blessed to take part in aiding families devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Through A.H.E.A.R..T’s  endeavors, Dr. RHMI is the recipient of many awards, such as the Unsung Hero State Award by the  NAACP. For her work in ministry, she has received the Women of Empowerment award, the Spirit of  Excellence award and the Visionary Award from the Eagle Excellence Award founded by Dr. Maria  Vaughn,

In 2021 the organization received the opportunity to partner with one of the largest distributors in the world, Amazon. They have partnered and are now anting to partner to reached this mission, have reached thousands of infants and now have the opportunity to connect and serve targeted areas in Africa, Kenya burundi, south africa, Ghana, 

What looked like a county issue turned out to be a global issue for women and babies of color. Since its inception,  A.H.E.A.R.T Ministries is now reaching multiples, states, countries and continents including 

Through Global outreach, Dr. RHMI has extended the focus of this ministry to include The Spiritual Midwife Civil Birth Initiative which operates under the belief that civil births create the opportunity to build communities of integrity and honor by assisting mothers and their babies to become a motivational and influential voice in their societies. 

Our mission is to promote the protection of women and their infants as they birth, build, and become a celebrated voice. 

In order to enhance a more civil birth experience for every other and her baby, we are introducing the “One Can Save Two & You Are The One” Campaign that focuses on how the individual healthcare professional has the capability to save two, both the mother and baby, by reducing stress environmentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
